Transfurmations Pet Services was founded by Sarah in 2019 when she rehomed a puppy who was very fearful and struggled massively in regular puppy classes. In her effort to help Luna blossom, Sarah decided to train as a dog trainer alongside her full time job, and Transfurmations was born.
With over 20 years experience in caring for many different types of animals including horses, cats, guinea pigs, rats etc and 7 years dog training experience, Sarah has turned her passion into a flourishing business. We even earned a Quality Business Award in both 2024 and 2025.
Sarah now works her English Springer Spaniel who she has trained herself for gundog work. They also occasionally take part in agility and scent work.

Our Services
Our aim is to provide your pets with the love and care that we would offer our own animals. Sarah has taken part in many dog training courses and is fully canine first aid trained, as well as holding a foundation degree in animal behaviour. We offer a mature and professional service.

Our walks are centred around enrichment and meeting your dog's needs, whether that’s sniffing, chasing, playing or just a relaxing stroll. Our qualifications in dog behaviour and body language means that we can spot immediately when a dog is uncomfortable, or may be struggling and act accordingly.

We have a very lively puppy, who needed to learn (and is still working on) how to be calm around other dogs. The puppy foundations classes helped reinforce and put into practice some things we had already seen (there is a lot out there on the internet but it's hard to know what is right)! For us, being in a room with other dogs and working on him being calm around other dogs was invaluable. A lot of what you do at training needs to be reinforced over time. Sarah talked us through training techniques and then gave us a toolkit of information to use when we left, which was useful and we still use all the things we learnt today.
